Position Overview
The Recruiting Manager will work closely with and report to the Director of Recruiting to develop and lead the talent acquisition strategy for Youth Villages.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide support and leadership to the recruiting department for general questions and coaching
  • Provide leadership and assistance with day-to-day operations of the recruiting department
  • Develop and implement the recruiting processes for organization
  • Work with organization's leaders to strategically plan for hiring and retention
  • Develop and implement the Talent Attraction strategy
  • Provide support and direction for College Recruiting Strategy
  • Assist with oversight of Summer Internship Program and YV360 Career Development Program
  • Provide recruiting support and direction as needed to regional teams
  • Work with Marketing and Communication Team to develop employer branding strategy
  • Interview and selection of recruiting team
  • Training and development of recruiting team
  • Collects and analyze data on recruiting practices and strategy to determine best practices
  • Addressing performance issues or challenges as needed and following all of Youth Villages' policies accordingly

This position will be based in Memphis, TN at the Operations Center


A Bachelor's Degree is required
At least 3 years of Recruiting experience is required
Experience supervising/leading a recruiting team is required
At least 2 years of leadership experience is required
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to lead and train others
