Overview

The Digital Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the Communications department at Youth Villages, providing essential support in the planning and organization of digital communication projects while executing email marketing campaigns. This position requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, a collaborative spirit and a passion for driving effective digital campaigns. 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities: 

Digital Project Management (60%): 

  • Coordinate and manage digital and creative projects within the department, utilizing project management software such as Wrike. 
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones, ensuring alignment with campaign goals. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communications with stakeholders, providing regular updates, addressing inquiries, and facilitating feedback sessions. 
  • Foster collaboration among cross-functional team members by scheduling and facilitating project kickoffs, brainstorming sessions, and internal review meetings. 
  • Utilize emotional intelligence and critical thinking skills to resolve project disputes and maintain positive stakeholder relationships. 
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness. 

Email Marketing Specialist (40%): 

  • Assist in the development and execution of email marketing campaigns, including campaign planning, content creation, layout and testing, list segmentation, scheduling, and deployment. 
  • Collaborate closely with team members to develop engaging email content that aligns with brand messaging and campaign objectives. 
  • Monitor email performance metrics, analyze campaign results, and deliver actionable insights and recommendations for optimization. 

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field. 
  • 2+ years of experience in digital project management. 
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Wrike, Asana, Monday.com. 
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Experience with email marketing platforms and tools, such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, MailChimp. Experience with email coding a plus. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and various levels of leadership. 
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive decision-making and optimize campaign performance.
