Responsibilities

What is High Fidelity Wraparound? Wraparound is an evidence-based model of support to help youth continue living at home, attending school or work and remaining stable. The process helps families learn how to meet their needs and use their support systems to handle their challenges and struggles. Wraparound does not “fix kids” or make crisis and challenges go away. Instead, wraparound helps families learn how to handle their challenges, overcome difficulties and achieve their vision for a stable family life.

 

What will you do? The High Fidelity Wraparound Facilitator will engage youth and families in developing, implementing, and monitoring an intensive, individualized care plan. This includes helping the team develop a natural support system, working on the development of an integrated plan and establishing a strong relationship with the family. The High Fidelity Wraparound Facilitator provides these services through scheduled treatment sessions and may be provided to individuals, families, or groups.

 

What does an ideal candidate look like? Youth Villages is looking for candidates who are:

  • Interested in community-based work utilizing flexible and/or non-traditional hours
  • Passionate about using a strengths-based approach when working with families
  • Experienced in providing services for children and families with complex needs
  • Experienced facilitating Child and Family Team meetings
  • Experienced in providing some level of case management services
  • Knowledgeable of systems of care
  • Knowledgeable of community resources; preferably experience with local resources
  • Understanding and desire to collaborate with different child-serving systems, including schools, mental health, child welfare, juvenile justice, health and others

Salary: $50,000 - $56,000 / year based on education and/or clinical license

Qualifications

What are the position requirements? High Fidelity Wraparound Facilitators must meet the qualified professional standard for North Carolina. Please refer to the requirements below to ensure that your education and experience meet the qualifications. 

 

Bachelor’s Degree Applicants:

  • Hold a degree in a social services related field of study (Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy) AND
  • Have two years (post-graduation) experience (4,000 hours) with at-risk youth and families. Experience should include clinical case management or therapeutic interventions.

Master’s Degree Applicants:

  • Hold a degree in a social services related field of study (Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy) AND
  • Have one year (post-graduation) experience (2,000 hours) with at-risk youth and families. Experience should include clinical case management or therapeutic interventions.

Licensed Applicants:

  • Hold one of the following licenses in the state of North Carolina: LCMHCA, LMFTA, LCSWA, LPA, or LCSASA

**Exceptions may be made for other degrees in a behavioral science that includes a minimum of 30 semester hours in human behavior, child development/behavior, family intervention technique, or therapeutic techniques**
