Overview

The Strategic Partnerships Licensed Program Expert - Intercept provides clinical leadership to assigned Intercept implementing partner organizations in effectively implementing Youth Villages’ licensed treatment models. The Licensed Program Expert will provide training and coaching of theory and application of Youth Villages’ Intercept treatment model to partner organization teams with various professional backgrounds and who hold a variety of positions including clinicians, supervisor, and program directors.

 

The Licensed Program Expert will assist partner organizations in a variety of ways to ensure the success of the Intercept treatment program which may include a combination of: providing weekly consultation via Microsoft Teams, ongoing training to treatment teams, providing coaching and development of supervisors in collaboration with the partner directors, providing consultation and training to supervisors, participation in program model reviews, and coordinating clinical development of staff with partner supervisors and directors. The Expert is also responsible for facilitating weekly red flag calls, evaluating group supervision for partner supervisors, and participating in implementing partner organization data review calls. The Licensed Program Expert will receive support and coaching directly from the Intercept Clincial Manager and will be involved in expert coaching, as applicable.  

 

This will be a remote based position and can work from any location.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Ensures fidelity of treatment model implemented (including interventions delivered to youth and families, crisis response and follow up, safety planning, staff and supervisor training)
  • Conducts/oversees weekly clinical consultation for assigned implementing partner
  • Provides input on admission and discharge decisions, reviewing initial pre-admission assessments to drive decision making and closely monitoring treatment progress to support discharge date determination
  • Facilitates weekly red flag meetings with implementing partner supervisor and program lead
  • Collaborates with the implementation specialist who provides a variety of implementation support, ensureing partner organizations have the necessary training, skills, and resources to implement the model during all phases of implementation
  • Maintains policy, professional growth, and quality of service with standards of the strategic partnerships department.
  • Works with partner organization supervisors in planning, leading, and carrying out an ongoing clinical training program for staff, including booster training and as-needed clinical training
  • Coordinates training including scheduling, preparation of materials and communication with teams regarding training logistics, and facilitating all activities required to successfully complete training and evaluation
  • Serves as a resource to supervisors and specialists for additional materials relevant to their training needs regarding research proven
  • Works with the supervisor and implementing partner staff in matters pertaining to major critical events
  • Works with the supervisor and implementing partner staff in matters pertaining to mandated reporting and provides direction based on local and state laws and ethical guidelines.
  • Evaluates group supervision quality and provides training/development in this area as a part of weekly supervisor development, in conjunction with the partner organization program
  • Serves as program expert to specialists and supervisors in all areas of Intercept clinical service
  • Reviews specialist treatment plans and supervisor documentation and provides input into development and training in this area
  • Monitors clinical quality of services delivered in assigned regions/teams in conjunction with supervisor 
  • Contributes to development plans and meetings with specialists (as needed) and supervisors on assigned teams
  • Works with partner organization program staff in matters pertaining to adherence to Youth Villages Intercept program models to ensure fidelity
  • Collaborates with regional network lead and implementation specialist(s) to ensure program is implemented with quality and specialists, supervisor and program director have skills necessary to implement program to achieve positive outcomes with families
  • Collaborates with other YV departments in implementation and evaluation of program as needed (e.g. Research Department).
  • Willingness to travel to conduct initial clinical training, quarterly booster trainings and other trainings, field observation and provide onsite support as needed for each partner organization assigned.
  • Participates in special projects as requested by Strategic Partnerships leadership.

DEGREE OF SUPERVISION, INDEPENDENCE AND DISCRETION:

Clinical supervision and assistance will include a measure of coaching, training and oversight directed from Youth Villages Intercept Clinical Manager and/or Clinical Services Director.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or marriage & family therapy is required.
  • Professional Licensure is required (LCSW, LPC, LMFT)
  • Think:Kids Collaborative Problem Solving Certification required or willingness to pursue certification through Think:Kids
  • Current or previous Youth Villages' work employment/experience in one of the following roles: Licensed Program Expert for Intercept or Intercept Clinical Supervisor.

  • Experience as a LPE working with implementing partners OR experience as an Intercept LPE working with a variety of teams (seasoned, start-up, etc.) strongly preferred
  • Experience in intensive in-home services required.
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 45% of the time if indicated.
  • Enthusiasm for Youth Villages’ strategy to pursue growth through partnering, creative thinking, and flexibility to try new approaches.
