Responsibilities

Position Overview

 

The NC Wraparound Coach/Supervisor is a person who uses various coaching strategies to support the Wraparound Facilitator, the Family Partner and the Youth Partner in their work in the team process. The techniques include group coaching, documentation review, and other modalities that build knowledge and create fidelity to the process. Coaching is the process of teaching someone to do NC Wraparound by showing them the process, doing the process with them, and providing ongoing consultation.

 

The NC Wraparound Coach/Supervisor has demonstrated skills that are necessary to be a Wraparound Facilitator, and should also have the resource knowledge and compassion of the Family and Youth Support Partner. They will also have the experience to assist with the selection and orientation of new NC Wraparound members, support training, and prepare members to work with youth and families. The NC Wraparound Coach/Supervisor continually assesses the NC Wraparound members, provides feedback, as well as develops and monitors member's Professional Development Plans.

 

  • The NC Wraparound Coach/Supervisor supports learning for the NC Wraparound Team, works to complete observations of the NC Wraparound Team's performance, and documents these observations to support continuous improvement of NC Wraparound Team dynamics.
  • NC Wraparound Coaches/Supervisors will inform the NC Wraparound Team of the expectations of completing training and the credentialing process, the roles of the NC Wraparound Team, understanding the roles of the agencies and community, and clarifying the supports and expectations available to the NC Wraparound Team during the High Fidelity Wraparound (HFW) process. Orientation also offers an opportunity for the NC Wraparound Team to understand the HFW Principles, Phases, Activities and Theory of Change and to work on their Professional Development Plan.
  • Provide ongoing clinical oversight and supervision, and be available for NC Wraparound Team consultation and crisis intervention.
  • Collaborate with the Family/Youth Partner Director at NC Families United to support NC Wraparound Team cohesion. Gather the NC Wraparound Team together to review cases as they relate to the phases, activities and Theory of Change; this may include role play activities as a group, and discussion around High Fidelity Wraparound-related topics.
  • Provide routine program administration, including adherence to contract scope of services requirements; assist in preparation and adherence to program budget; and ensure data is provided in a timely manner.

 

Additional Information

 

Schedule is flexible and non-traditional; based around the availability of youth and families served.
Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, a personal vehicle to use for work purposes and auto insurance.
Community Based staff will be reimbursed for applicable mileage

Qualifications

Position Requirements
 
Masters degree in Social Work, Drug and Alcohol Education or Counseling, Counseling, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Guidance Counseling, Human Services, Marriage and Family Therapy. 

 **Clinical License preferred but will consider provisional license  (LCSWA, LPCA, LMFTA)**

 

Must have High Fidelity Wraparound experience and/or supervisory experience.
