Responsibilities

 

Summary


Coordinates onsite contractors and vendors and other service providers for Support Services which includes ordering and tracking inventory for maintenance shops/warehouses, preventive maintenance tasks and scheduling at the Bartlett and Dogwood campuses.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

 

Orders and documents inventory flow of commonly used maintenance hardware and chemicals / provide efficient stocking of material.
Maintain MSDS books in conjunction with procurement of chemicals.
Research and order any item required to be tracked and followed up on.
Research contractors and vendors for Maintenance and Support Services.

Obtain quotes and bids for needed products and services.
Compile reports for Maintenance and Support Services.
Receive and track packages received on the dock to the appropriate buildings and departments on a daily basis.
Deliver maintenance, housekeeping and dietary vehicles to be cleaned on a scheduled rotation and any follow up as necessary.
Assist maintenance with transportation for vehicle drop offs and pickups to service centers and any follow up necessary.
Ensures effective communication between departments.
Use of Microsoft Office products for documentation purposes and maintains cap expenditure documentation. 
Perform administrative functions relating to operations, including reports and records, and order furniture.
Ensure compliance with all relevant/required regulations/programs both internally and externally.

Updates and maintains facilities shared site and maintains support services grid.

Work with contractors and scheduling.
This position would report directly to the Assistant Director of Support Services.

 

 

Qualifications

Requirements

 

High School Diploma or GED required.

1 year of relevant experience
Valid Driver License required
Ability to work different hours as needed.

Experience in the maintenance / facilities field if possible.

Experience growth and development through our continuous training, as well as tuition and licensure reimbursement, or pursue opportunities to advance both clinically and administratively with Youth Villages.
