    Responsibilities

    Will be responsible for all duties relating to the coordination and execution of marketing and communication strategies for recruiting foster parents. The Foster Care Recruiting Coordinator will serve as a liaison and consultant for the Foster Care recruiting staff to ensure the implementation of continuous, comprehensive, and strategic recruitment efforts of foster parents.

    • Provide marketing and community outreach strategies to help direct and implement foster parent recruitment plans across the state of Tennessee. 
    • Provide direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Foster Parent Recruiting strategies. 
    • Provide support and assistance as needed to the foster care recruiting staff to ensure they have the appropriate skills and resources to meet their goals with respect to foster parent inquiries, orientations, and certification of foster parents. 
    • Responsibilities include training staff and assistance with planning and implementation of foster parent recruitment campaigns to meet or exceed goals as written on TN state growth plan regarding each specific region.
    • Conduct regular meetings with foster care recruiting staff and supervisors to ensure comprehensive plan development and implementation and provide feedback on recruitment strategies. 
    • Participate in provider organizations of which Youth Villages is a member if applicable to foster parent recruitment.
    • Be willing to travel to all areas of Tennessee, sometimes overnight, to engage in, oversee and evaluate recruitment activities.
    • Oversee the development and implementation of recruitment plans for each region. 
    • Conduct market research, analyze the results and develop recruitment plans for Youth Villages’ growth in each assigned region in Tennessee (TN). 
    • Oversee the team in conducting market research on recruitment trends and new recruitment opportunities, competitors and the service environment. 
    • Provide reports to Youth Villages’ leadership on any market analysis. 
    • Oversee the foster parent recruiting and training experience to ensure all needs of potential foster parents are met throughout the training and recruiting process. 
    • Conduct customer service calls to inquiries and potential foster parents to monitor the process from the customer’s perspective and make recommendations on any changes to improve the overall customer experience.

     

    This position will have statewide responsibilities and can work from any Youth Villages office in Tennessee.  

    Qualifications

    A Master's degree in a social services discipline or marketing/communications is preferred but not required.
    A Bachelor's degree is required.

    Experience in marketing/recruiting is required.

    Supervisory or management experience is required.

    Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
    Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
    Basic computer knowledge.
    Ability to maintain a flexible, non-traditional schedule.
    You must have your own vehicle to use for work purposes as well as have liability insurance.
