    How will I make a difference?

    • Counsels individuals or groups of children/youth regarding psychological or emotional problems
    • Complete and update risk assessments
    • Complete weekly treatment plans for residents when needed
    • Complete full admission process when recieving an external admission
    • Provide assistance in crisis interventions. The counselor would be on call for crisis incidents Monday-Friday and rotationg weekends
    • Ensure good communication between leadership and residential staff
    • Attend weekly clinical consultation where the cases are revieed with clinical consultant, attend weekly group home consultation with group home program manager and supervisor, attend weekly group supervision with the clinical consultant, attend weekly counselor's meeting
    • Attend Child and Family Team Meetings(CFTMs), attend licensure supervision
    • Complete weekly mentor contacts
    • Conduct individual, group, and family counseling sessions
    • Attend monthly developmental meetings with clinical progam manager
    • Remain in compliance with all required trainings
    • Complete montly youth, family reveiw, discharge/transfer summaries
    • Enter thorough documenation within our electronic medial records system(Evolv)
    • Complete quarterly chart audits, request docments needed for medical records, upload documents for medical records weekly
    • Compile pass schedule for all residents within group home, arrange transprotation for family when needed, organize shuttle arrangements for residents, complete transports if needed
    • We strongly prefer someone with a background in Collaborative Problem Solving and work history to include residential or group home experience


    Additional Information
    Schedule is flexible and non-traditional; based around the availability of youth and families served. 
    Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, a personal vehicle to use for work purposes and auto insurance. 
    Community Based staff will be reimbursed for applicable mileage





    Master's degree (M. A.) or equivalent from an accredited university in Social Work, Counseling or other related field, and one year of supervised counseling.

    Must be QMHP eligible

    Experience in a clinical counseling or case management setting
    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    Excellent written, verbal, and oral skills
    Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
    Basic computer knowledge
    Ability to maintain a flexible schedule
